Hi, my name is Jen! I’m absolutely thrilled that you’re here!
I am a coach’s wife, dog mom, and woman with PCOS. I am also a native Kansan who can’t find her ruby slippers (if you know you know). My husband and I, with our two dogs, Pepe and Pumpernickel, have now moved out of the Sunflower State and followed my husband’s career all the way to the Smokey Mountains.
This is the first time that we are living somewhere that is nowhere near anyone that either one of us knows. Our people are just a phone call away, but it definitely feels different from being just a mile or two away! It is truly so gorgeous up here, in the mountains, where the people we’ve met have been incredibly kind and welcoming. We’re working on making this our home.. at least for a while. 🙂
As for the content of this website, I will primarily focus on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (along with all the things that are encompassed in that like; food, movement, headspace, detoxing life, good sources of information) and then add some other topics for funsies.
If you have any questions or topics you would like for me to cover, please reach out! I will answer your questions to the best of my ability. If I don’t know, I’ll direct you to someone or something that can give you a better answer than me. 🙂
I am not pretending to be a doctor here: just a woman who has been going through it with PCOS and is trying to work on being the best, healthiest version of herself and who wants to share tips/tricks/info that she learns along the way. Before you make any changes or take any supplements I may talk about, you should consult your own doctor.
With that being said, thank you for being here. It means more than you could know. Happy reading!
